Roles in Antidote
In addition to their role in the organization, users can hold one or more roles in the various Antidote applications. There is no role assigned by default.
Exam Monitor
This role is linked to Antidote Web. Users with this role can enable exam mode and manage group permissions for the organization. Exam mode changes Antidote Web’s appearance to indicate that an exam is in progress. Group permissions grant or restrict access to Antidote Web’s tools and content (corrector, student data, etc.). Exam mode and group permissions are managed from within Antidote Web, so the user assigned this role must have access to the application.
Permissions Manager
This role is linked to Antidote Web. Users with this role can manage group permissions for the organization and can grant or restrict access to Antidote Web’s tools and content (corrector, student data, etc.) unless exam mode is enabled. These permissions are managed from within Antidote Web, so the user assigned this role must have access to the application.
Publication Manager
This role is available only to organizations with a subscription to Antidote Web or Antidote Pro. Users with this role can share writing conventions with a specific group or with the entire organization, in Antidote 12 or Antidote Web. To ensure linguistic consistency in the organization’s written material, publication managers can share personal dictionaries, custom rules and settings so others can apply required or recommended standards. They are also responsible for changes made to the writing conventions and must therefore have access to Antidote.
