Antidote: A Reference
As a user of Antidote, you might have wondered how to cite our dictionaries and guides in a reference.
First of all, here is a general template for citing the software in a bibliography:
Antidote 9 (software, version 3). Druide informatique, Montreal, 2016
Here is an example of a citation from a specific entry in one of the dictionaries:
“helper”, Definitions dictionary, Antidote 9 (software, version 3). Druide informatique, Montreal, 2016
You may follow the same format when citing the other dictionaries (Synonyms, Combinations, Conjugation, etc.)
Here is an example of a citation from a specific article in the guides:
“False Friends”, Lexicon guide, Antidote 9 (software, version 3). Druide informatique, Montreal, 2016
You may follow the same format when citing the other guides (Grammar, Syntax, Style, etc.)
Here is a general template for citing the website (such as the home page):

All of the examples shown above are suggestions based on guidelines from both the Chicago Manual of Style and the MLA Style Manual. If you are required to follow a specific model for citation (Chicago, MLA, APA, etc.), you should consult the relevant resource. The international standards set out in ISO 690 also offer comprehensive guidance, although this documentation is not publicly available.
